Ciqualia is a software company from Böblingen near Stuttgart. We develop Complaica – a platform for information security, data protection and risk management – and support businesses as consultants for software development, IT project management, AI and data analytics.

Who we are

Ciqualia was founded in 2025 by Mike Sikalo together with a group of colleagues who had worked together for many years at several companies before – on products and projects in compliance, software development and high tech.

Our business lines

• Complaica Compliance management

  Software for information security, data protection, quality management, business continuity and internal policies. A measure, documented once, counts for every standard it satisfies – from ISO 27001, NIS2, TISAX and DORA to IT-Grundschutz and the GDPR. As SaaS hosted in Germany or on-premise.

• Pragmatica Software development & IT projects

  Software development, cloud solutions and IT project management: automotive software, business applications in the cloud and on classic infrastructure, modernisation of legacy applications, and go-to-market services for IT companies.

• Gnostica AI & data analytics

  Products, services and consulting around artificial intelligence – from assessing the feasibility of use cases through data analysis, data preparation and LLM selection to development, integration and operation. This includes products such as APPAIQ, Gnostica for Codebeamer and Gnostica for Complaica.

How we work

• Cloud & AI first

  Our own business processes run in the cloud and are automated with AI wherever it makes sense – what we recommend to clients, we use ourselves first. Our main platform is Microsoft Azure; we run Complaica as SaaS hosted in Germany and, where clients need it, on-premise as well, at the same licence price.

• From Böblingen, hosted in Germany

  We are based in Böblingen in the Stuttgart region, one of Germany’s most important locations for the automotive industry and high tech. Our systems are hosted in Germany – an important point for anyone who takes data protection seriously.

• 25+ years of software, 10+ years of AI

  Ciqualia is young, our experience is not: the team has been developing software for more than 25 years and working with artificial intelligence for more than ten – in industries such as automotive, energy, compliance, IT security, healthcare, logistics and education.

We work mainly with clients from Germany and the DACH region, and are actively preparing to take our products and services to further markets.
